The Safety Management System integrates international standards as well as industry requirements (IMCA, OCIMF) by offering effective HSE tools to our crew.
With our QHSE policies and the commitment of our managers on a daily basis, we are on course to achieve our ZERO accident objective.

Because HSE management is a daily outreach work, QHSE department is performing about 30 internal audits and about 20 external audits (based on IMCA or ISM code) per year. Objectives are reaching excellence and be pro-active.
Risk management is part of directing projects and operating vessels. All employees are trained in order to identify risks and bring mitigation control measures to the workplace. Our goal is working safely without injuring crew members nor clients.
Jifmar Offshore Services’ QHSE has developed an integrated Safety Management System (SMS). Built in order to meet the highest HSE standards of the industry and European regulations, the SMS is made of a multitude of tools in order to help workers and managers to work safely. QHSE department is permanently improving the SMS with new regulations, client expectations and field experience.
Because HSE is part of our daily life, culture and communication are of utmost importance.
- HSE Flashes are sent for sharing experiences & corrective action after incidents.
- HSE bulletin is sent every month to all employees.
- Online incident management allows all employees to bring feedbacks.
Environmental management is part of the QHSE department duties by:
- Monitoring CO2 emission
- Implementing environmental policies
- Finding solutions for Fuel Efficiency Management
- Managing wastes procedures
Ocean is our workplace, since 2019, we engage ourselves in its protection by implementing a Zero Plastic Policy onboard our vessel.
All Jifmar employees are fully equipped with PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment). This is the last barrier to prevent injuries and so, crucial to protect our people. All PPEs are complying with international standards and are adapted to missions assigned.
