Our client contracted Jifmar to perform the replacement of the flexible discharge line currently in use in client terminal. Jifmar was in charge of the complete engineering & project management for this operation, which we already successfully carried out twice. The new 60m long flexible was assembled at quay and lifted afloat using 6 mobile cranes in parallel.
The Alexandre Z together with a team of divers disconnected the used flexible after flushing and towed to site the newly assembled one. It was then immersed, connected to the in-place pipeline and pressure tested. Operations were carried out smoothly in 8 days, using Jifmar Team’s site knowledge.
