The Jif Marlin carried out the task of installing two WINDSEA buoys, which collect wind data thanks to an onboard Lidar, off the coast of Barfleur (France).
Each buoys weight about 13T and is equipped with two dedicated mooring line made of a 2,5T deadweight & anchor.
Installation was performed in 1 day for each buoy, under the supervision of the client.
An annex vessel, KROKMOU, chartered by the client was holding the buoys away from the vessel during the operation. Buoys are made of aluminum, quite sensitive to any contact with the hull of our multicat.
