La Ciotat (France) based company, chartered the Roxane Z, DP2 multipurpose and shallow draft vessel for 18 days, in order to perform a bathymetrical survey of the future Windfarm of Fecamp.
The bathymetric survey was performed by a rather new sort of tool developed by the client over the past few years. It is an ASV (Autonomous Surface Vehicle), unmanned, capable of performing various survey operation on its own.
Its thermic engine allows 3 days autonomy at 8kts (survey speed), with up to 1500m of wifi range.
Roxane Z was hosting all interfacing & computing equipment to pilot the ASV, and was performing the launching & recovery.
