To reduce scour (water erosion) around a wind turbine monopile, Jifmar was contracted to install 405 sandbags around the monopile seabed.
Roxane Z, our DP2 multipurpose vessel was fitted with a hydraulic grab and realized the deployment of the bags within 15 days offshore Ramsgate. Maximum capacity on deck was of 58 bags (200kg each), a total of 7 rotation was needed to complete the full job.
